RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — Bahrain declared a state of emergency Tuesday as thousands of its citizens marched on the Saudi embassy to protest the arrival of Saudi military forces and as violent clashes erupted between protesters and police in the heavily Shiite village of Sitra. Two protesters were reportedly killed during the clashes.
