JOPLIN, Missouri -- A tornado has touched down in Joplin, reportedly damaging several businesses including a hospital.
The hospital may taken a direct hit, say reports from local media in the area.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has shut down I-44 just outside of Miami because of overturned vehicles and debris on the highway.
News On 6 has a crew en-route and will have more information as soon as they arrive.
